Vicente Valencia
Founder & Principal Advisor
Vicente Valencia has spent his career at the intersection of public policy and commercial infrastructure — bidding, managing, delivering and advising governments, investors, and project companies on some of Canada and New Zealand's most complex PPP and infrastructure transactions.
His background spans senior roles in the public sector, where he developed deep expertise in procurement strategy, commercial structuring, and the governance of long-term infrastructure contracts. He understands how public agencies think, what they need, and where deals go wrong.
Vicente founded Vilentia to offer something the market lacked: a boutique firm where clients work directly with a senior advisor — not a partner who hands the work to a team of graduates. Every engagement is led personally, from first conversation to final deliverable.
His work covers the full project lifecycle: Market-Led Proposals, SPV management, bid advisory, public agency commercial capability, and strategic and commercial advisory for both public and private sector clients.
